Location, friendly staff, food,
Trouble with Internet connection difficult for working while there:(
No medical Discounts, No seniors Discounts. We were there for a medical appointment for my 95 year old mother and after the booking was made I found out that some hotels do offer a medical discount.
It was close to shopping mall and crosstown arteries
I used a couple bottles of water during my stay but paid for them at the counter on checkout but the information still on my checkout slip. I have to send this to the company for them to pay and I think I will be having to pay for those water again
Clean, affordable and freindly staff.
N / A
I was impressed with the friendly staff. Both in the front desk and dining room. Good Newfoundland hospitality.
We did not enjoy our stay for many reasons. First, we waited over half an hour for our room, got it about 3:30 PM and they said they were short staffed. The next day at the same time the lobby had several people waiting for their room as well. We stayed 2 nights and when we came back to our room the second day the glasses were still dirty and right where we left them and no coffee or other supplies were replenished!! Then next thing we had a couple trying to enter our room because they were given the same room from the front desk!!! There was no conditioner and I have never been in a hotel that did not supply this! We will not be back!
The accommodations were very good.
I am a senior, retired teacher but couldn't avail of the discount for NLTA because I had booked on-line. I really think that's unfair.
very friendly, helpfull, plesant, close to shoping, convienient, clean, home like, wonderful when ever i visit this is the hotel i stay at always.
nothing really. only concern was when i was told we used a juice and a water from the basket. which we did not. put the clerk said she would look into it which she did. probably the wrong room number. i really don't understand why the hotel is not rated higher. because i think it should be rated at at least a 5 star.
When I booked the room I was quoted a different price then what I had paid...we had to pay much more...we were there for a family wedding which was held there and paid a out rageous price..
The staff were so amazing and accomodating. I had 4 rooms for mself and 3 other couples that were visiting from Ontario and they all loved my choice. We were happy with the whole experience there and it was only a short taxi to George street. Will I get credit for having booked 4 rooms or only the two I paid for on my cridit card, or is Hotels .com that does that? Loved the plance.
Clean and convienient.
Had cigatette smoke odour enter room through ventilation system. Not hotels fault, but definitely decreased our enjoyment of the facility.
The front desk clerks were very friendly to myself, husband and especially out two small children. I love that they made an effort to speak and make small conversations with my children, especially my 3yr old daughter. She thought that was wonderful!
The service in the resturant wasn't that great.....they forgot my drink, my daughters icecreme, her milk, and my husband side dish!!!!! So Idid without my drink and my husband did without his side dish. I got my daughters milk just before we left and her icecreme. And nothing was done to make up for the mistakes.....sowe didn't order there again we ate out instead. I don't normally complain, but when it comes to almost the entire meals mixed up, I can not help but express how we felt.
I really liked the beds!!!
I wished there was a small fridge in the room but that's only minor stuff.
It was a clean and spacious room. I didn't like that I couldn't change my rate to government when I got there just bacause I booked online myself. I did not notice that option online. Should have been changed for me once I arrived.
See above. Unable to adjust my room rate to government rate once I got there. We pay enough for a simple room staff should have adjusted it for me.
The rooms are clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful
I really did not like the inflexibility of the restaurant menu, it is a case of nickel and dime, any simple substituiton is extra cost, simple items ..ex. Onion with a steak is extra ( I always thought this was a staple with steak !!)
